to be specially benefited by said improvement; that the cost of said <br />improvement shall include the expense of the preliminary and other surveys, <br />and of printing and publishing the notices, resolutions and ordinances <br />required, and the serving of said notices, and the cost of construction <br />together ~vi.th interest on notes and bonds issued in anticipation of the <br />collection of deferred assessments, and all other necessary expenditures. <br />Sec. 1~. That the assessments so to be levied shall be paid in ten <br />(10} annu~ns~allmerYts, with interest on deferred payments, at-.theā¢same <br />rate as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued in anticipation of the <br />collections thereof; prov~.ded, that the owner of arty property assessed may, ... <br />at his option' pay such assessment in cash within thirty days (30) from and <br />after the passage and legal publication of the assessing ordinance. <br />Sec. 5. That bonds of the Vild.age of Mayfield shall be issued in <br />anticipation o the collection of assessments by installments and in an <br />amount equal thereto and notes of said Village of Mayfield shall be issued <br />in anticipation of the levying of such assessments and the issuance of bonds. <br />Sec. 6. That the remainder of the entire cost of said improvement, <br />13.35 no s~ pecially assessed, shall be paid by the Village of ~yfield by <br />the issuance of bonds in the manner provided by law and notes of said <br />Village of Mayyfield shall be issued in anticipation of the issuance of such <br />bonds. <br />Sec. 7. That the Clerk and Mayor of Mayfield Village be and they <br />are hereby a~Iu orrized and direeted, as soon as funds therefore are available <br />to make and execute a contract for said ima~rovement with the lowest and <br />best bidder, after advertisement according ~ law. <br />Sec. 8. That this ordinance shall take effect as an emergency <br />measure fo~he reason that funds are required for the immediate construction <br />of said improvement for the convenience, necessity and welfare of the <br />citizens of Mayfield ViLtage and shall .take effect and be in full force <br />from and after its passage as an emergency measure. <br />Passed May 19, 1952. <br />Attest: <br />Approved <br />-- Mayor <br />cx'~ r,.r <br />E.4 er . <br />
