(a) In a cZass AI district no dwelling shalZ be erectea or`altered to accommodate or make provision ior more than one fa.mi.ly for each 12 ,000 square feet of the a-rea of the Zot. Provided that one single family dwelling ntay be erected on any lot separa-tely ovm.ed at the time of the passage of this ordinance or on any numbered lot in a recorded subd.ivision that was on record in the office of the cou;zty record.er at the time of the passabe of tnis ordinance. (b) In a class A2 district no dwelling she-Li be erected or altered to accommodate or make provision for more than one family for each 3,500 square feet of the area of the lot. (c) In a class A3 district no dwelling or apartment house shall be erected or altered to accommodate or make provision for more than one family for each 1.,250 square -feet of the arsa of -L-he lot. (d) In computin.g such area of the lot for the purposes of this section, an,y part of the area of any corner lot in excess of 12,000 square feet sha71 be considered an interior lot: - (e) For the purpose of determi.ng the number of fa.milies that may be houserJ on.a given lot area where a portion of a. bui]:aing in a eZass 919 A2 or A3 district is arranged, intended or designed for a business or industrial use, the number of families that may be housed on such lot shall be reduced one for each I,250 square f'eet or fraction thereof of lot area actually covered by such portion of the building as is arranged, intended or designed for such business or industrial use. In a class UZ, II2 or 0 distriet for every building erected there sha7l be a siae yzsd along each lot line other than a front line or rear line. Each single family dwelling, each two fam.ily dwelling and each apartment hoUSe shall be deemed a separate buiZding and shall have side yasds as above prsscribed except that two single family dwellings may be atta.ched as a s3oubZe house and be donsidered a single bu.ilding in any area other than an area vuithin a portion of a cZass III district that is within a cla,ss Al district.
