Page 3. <br />(g) Maintenance of Equipment. <br />(h) Emergency Food and Housing. <br />(i) Assist in any Evacuations. <br />(j) Enforce Air Raid Warnings and Air Raid precautionary measures. <br />(k) Know the location and operation of emergency communications. <br />(1) Report broken water, gas; and sewer mains, poles, trees, and <br />power lines knocked down. Erect barricades and signs, and pro- <br />vide protection. <br />(m) Assist authorized transportation services. <br />(n) Assist in the prevention of looting in the event of any disaster, <br />(o) Assist in the prevention of, and control of, panic, disorder, <br />hysteria, and mob action. <br />EQUIPMENT <br />Section I. <br />The following equipment shall be issued, by the Village of Mayfield, <br />to every member of the Auxiliary Police. <br />(a) One (1) Auxiliary Police Cap. <br />(b) One (1) Breast Badge, and One (1) Cap Wreath. <br />(c) One (1) Whistle and Chain. \ <br />(d) One (1) Night Stick or Riot Stick. <br />(e) One (1) Three-Cell Flashlight. <br />Section TI. <br />A record shall be kept, by the Chief of Police, of all equipment is- <br />sued to an Auxiliary Policeman. This record shall contain the signature <br />of the Auxiliary Policeman to whom it was issued. <br />Section III . <br />Any issued equipment, lost or misplaced by an Auxiliary Policeman, <br />shall be replaced at his own expense within thirty days. <br /> <br />
