' Page 7. <br />but all members may quietly exercise their right of suffrage. <br />~.. No member of the Auxiliary Police shall drink any kind of intoxi- <br />cating liquor, while he is on duty, or an assignment, or while <br />wearing his official uniform. <br />5. All communications sent to other Police Departments on public busi- <br />ness, shall be sent only by the Chief of Police, or by his order. <br />6. All matters coming to this Department, from other Departments, <br />shall immediately be directed to the Chief of Police. <br />7. Every member of the auxiliary Police shall treat as confidential, <br />the official business of the Department of Police with which he is <br />acquainted. He shall impart it to no one person except those to <br />whom it was intended or others authorized by the Chief of Police, <br />and to others authorized by due process of law. <br />$. Any news releases effecting the Department of Police will be is- <br />sued exclusively by the Chief of Police. <br />9. Members of the Auxiliary Police shall report for duty at the time <br />and place designated by the Chief of Police or other regular of- <br />ficer designated in charge by the Chief of Police. <br />10. Members of the Auxiliary Police assigned to a specific territory <br />shall remain therein unless required to leave it for reasons~of <br />Police necessity, or ordered to do so by the Chief of Police, or <br />regular officer designated in charge. <br />11. Members of the Auxiliary Police shall patrol the territory to <br />which they a-re assigned, and perform such other duties as may be <br />directed. <br />12. Members of the Auxiliary Police shall not interfere with nor at- <br />tempt to influence the lawful business of any person. <br />13. Members of the Auxiliary Police shall not enter or visit any house <br />of ill fame, gambling house, or other disreputable premises at <br />any time, except on official orders. <br />14. Members of the Auxiliary Police are forbidden to carry on politi- <br />cal or religious discussions between themselves, while on duty, or <br />with citizens, and shall exercise their right of suffrage quietly. <br />15. Members of the Auxiliary Police shall not solicit or sell tickets <br />for any purpose without the consent of the Chief of Police, while <br />on duty or in uniform. <br />16. Members of the Auxiliary Police shall make no expenditures of money <br />or incur any financial obligations in the name of the Village of <br />Mayfield or the regular Department of Police. <br />
