Minor physical defects need not be a disqualify- ing factor. 7. It is recommended that procurement be confined to persons not committed to other branches of Civil Defense or organizations, the duties of which would interfere with participation as an Auxiliary Police- man in emergency operations. 8. Application- The application form should be of a size adaptable to local filing facilities, preferably 81/z x 11. There should be two copies prepared, one for the law- enforcement agency and one for the local Director of Civil Defense.
