Zorn AId ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZOTJING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF Mr~YFIEID BY TRf~:dSFERRING CE`R,T~IN PROPEEtTY IAI THE NOP~TH-WEST PORTION OF THE VILLAGE TO MOTORIST SERVICE DISTRICT, OFFICE-LABORATORY DLSTRICT, ATdD PRODUCTION DISTRIBUTION DISTRICT. BE IT ORDA Ib1ED BY THE COUNCIL OI' THE VILLAGE OF MAYF IELD, CUYiiHOGA COUNTY OHIO, THt~T: WHEREAS, Council finds that a large amount of ]~.nd in the Northwesterly portion of the Village hereinafter described, now zoned ~ for Class U-1 Use District uses, has never been used for residential p~xrposes or for any other purposes, because of the location, extreme depth and lack of utilities and highways in the vicinity of said property; and WHEREAS, Council further finds that a limited access freeway, running in a general Northerly and Southerly direction through the Village, is in the process of construction and will present ah oppor~ tunity for uses of land (not hitherto authorized) for motorist service, office-laboratory uses, and production-distribution uses, and such uses will be conducive to the public health, peace, safety, comfort, prosperity, convenience and general welfare, brill provide more profitable uses for the owners of land, will provide added and needed tax revenues for the Village, enabling it to carry on needed functions, and will not substantially injure any other property in the Village or the use thereof; and WHEREAS, Council finds that this amending ordinance has been submitted to the Village Planning ~ Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions, and that said Commission has allowed a reasonable time for consideration and report, and has approved the same in the form herein set forth, and that a public hearing has been had thereon, and notice of such hearing given in the manner provided bylaw. NG~~, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TFIE VILLAGE OF I~YFIEI,11, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA xND STATE OF OHIO, THAT: Sec. 1. The foil®wing described property, hitherto in a Class U-1 Use District, shall be transferred to a Motorist. Service District, Office-Laboratory District, and aProduction-Distributio:l District, according to and as shown on the Map which is hereto attached, marked "Exhibit %." and made a part hereof:
