" Sec. 7, Accessory Uses in Residence Districts. An accessory <br />use customarily incident to a Class U-l, U-2 or U-3 use shall also be <br />permitted in, respectively, a Class U-1, U-2-or U-3 district, provided <br />such accessory use is located upon the same lot with the building or <br />use to which it is accessory. In a U-1 or U-2 district, a private <br />garage permitted as an accessory use shall not provide storage for <br />more than one motor vehicle for each 3000 square feet of the lot area. <br />In any Class U-3 apartment development, at least one and one-half <br />automobile storage spaces shall be provided accessory to each apartment <br />suite, plus at least one-half space for each bedroom my. which an3J suite <br />exceeds one bedroom.-in size; at leash one of the required automobile <br />storage spaces for each apartment suite shall be in an enclosed building." <br />Sec. 2. Section 8 (a) of said Ordinance No. 159 is hereby amended to read <br />as follows; <br />"Sec. 8 (a). In a Class U-4 District, no building or premises <br />shall be used, and no building shall be erected which is arranged, <br />intended or designed to be used, for Class U-5, U-6 or U-7 use. In a <br />Class U-4 District, no building or premises shall be used, and no <br />building shall be erected which is arranged, intended or designed to be used <br />except', for a Class U-1, U-2, U-3, or U-4 use. All provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 159, as amended, pertaining to apartment houses shall <br />also apply to apartment houses which may be erected in a Class U-4 <br />District." <br />Sec. 3. Section 9 of said Ordinance No. 159 is hereby amended to read <br />as follows; <br />"Sec. 9. Use District Exceptions. (1) The Village Planning & <br />Zoning Commission may in specific cases, after public notice and hearing, <br />and subject to such conditions and safeguards as the Commission may <br />establish, determine and vary the application of the Use District <br />exceptions herein established, which permission shall be confirmed by <br />resolution of Council before becoming effective, in the following <br />respects; -_ <br />''(a) Permit the extension of a non-conforming useof..a building <br />upon the-lot occupied by such use or building at the time of the passage <br />of this ordinance. <br />"(b) Grant in undeveloped sections of the Village temporary <br />and conditional permits but for not more than two year periods for <br />structures and uses that do not conf ox1n. to the regulations herein <br />prescribed for the Use District in which they are to be located. <br />"(c) permit the location of a Class U-5 use in a Class U-4 <br />use district and permit the location of a Class U-6 use in any Use <br />District, provided such use in such location will in the judgment of <br />the Village Planning & Zoning Commission substantially serve the public <br />convenience and welfare and will not substantially or permanently injure <br />
