appear in the Mayor'~'s Court of this Village in response to any <br />warrants, summons or arrest notice, or orders of the Mayor.,, <br />Special arrangements may be made by Council with Special Policemen <br />whereby they shall not be paid for police services performed in <br />connection with the operation of their own businesses or of <br />businesses for which they are compensated by the Owners thereof.. <br />Unifozm Allowance: <br />In addition to their regular compensation, each regular member of <br />the Police Department shall be reimbursed for the cost of unif orms <br />purchased by. him for use in his police work; provided, however, <br />that such reimbursement shall not exceed the sum of $100.00 per <br />year and must be supported by bills showing the cost.of same. In <br />addition, each Special Policeman shall be likewise so reimbursed, <br />except that his maximum allowance for unif orms shall be $50.00 <br />per year." <br />Sec. 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welf are of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, because of the <br />necessity of providing the maximum police protection within the limits of <br />the funds available for that purpose, and this Ordinance shall take effect <br />and be in force from and of ter the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 18th day of March, 1963. <br />Mayor - President of Council <br />Attest: <br />J <br />cs ) k <br />
