<br />(a) G`,~:PT~tAL: Upon completion of backfillin#t, or at such other
<br />~ti.me as ordered by ~;ngineer, Contractor shall. remove from sate of work
<br />a11., surplus material, tools, equi.p~aent aiid. construction sheds. All
<br />surplus excavated material slia]_1 •be removed and deposited upon lands
<br />abutting improvement if such fi1]_ is rcgv,~~stc,d. by prc~~~eNty owner. If
<br />no :Filling of abutting property :i_s desired. the Contra.ci.,:,~~ shall dispo e
<br />of such surplus V.*herever he carp arrange for r~~_gnts ~•o fill. The sur-
<br />face of street shall be lift smooth.

<br />Contractor shall again go over the zrorlc argil repair breaks, refill de-
<br />pressions, r~m.ove any surplus that has previot~sl.y been l.ef't upon the
<br />trenches, or !~2alte other repairsor replacements ~~.hich are necessary to
<br />place all the rro-rk in first-class conclition.
