b <br />? <br />if 11 <br />for any violation of law occurring within the corporate limits <br />of Mayfield Village. It shall be the responsibility of Mayfield <br />Village to transport all prisoners to and from the jail facility <br />of Gates Mills, whether such transportation is ror purposes <br />of confinement, appearance at Court or for any other reason. <br />2. In consideration of the foregoing, Mayfield Village <br />agrees to provide to Gates Mills, ambulance and emergency <br />medical service when called for same by Gates Mills. It is <br />mutually agreed by and between the parties hereto that all <br />personnel of Mayfield Village, while responding to a call <br />for ambulance or emergency medical service to Gates Mills, <br />shall be acting within the scope of their employment as fire <br />personnel of Mayfield Village while enroute to, enroute from, <br />and while acti.ng within the territory of Gates Mills. It <br />is further agreed by and between the parties that during the <br />term of this Agreement Gates Mills will rent, with an option <br />to purchase, a defibrillator ror the purpose of providing <br />same to the fire personnel of Mayfield Village for use in <br />performing ambulance and emergency medical service runs, whether <br />such runs are zor the benefit of Mayrield Village or for Gates <br />Mills. Gates Mills shall further contribute one-hali (1/2) <br />of the cost for paramedic training of Mayfield Village fire=ighters <br />during the term of this Agreement. <br />3. This Agreement shall remain in full force and e=rect <br />for a period of six (6) months from and after the date that <br />the jail facility of Gates Mills is approved by the Department <br />of Rehabilitation and Correction of the State of Ohio. Each <br />municipality shall thereafter determine whether the continuation <br />of this Agreement is in its best interest. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the respective parties hereto have <br />caused this Agreement to be executed this 21st day of May , <br />1984. <br />Authorized by Resolution No. 84-13. <br />Mayfield Village <br />MAYFIELD VILLA , OHIO <br />B .,....??
