RESOLUTION N0. 84- 29 <br />Page -2- <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Councilo and that <br />deliberations of this Council anc3 of its committees, resulting in such <br />f ormal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compli- <br />ance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of <br />Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 5. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />for the reason that the joint purchasing arrangement authorized herein <br />provides the municipality with the opportunity to reap substantial <br />savings in the purchase of certain machinery, materials, supplies or <br />other articles necessary for maintaining effective governmental <br />operations. It shall therefore take effect immediately upon passage <br />by the affirmative vote of not less than four (4) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time <br />allowed by lawo <br />?. <br />Ri ard C.
