ORDINANCE N0. 85-5 <br />Page -4- <br />exceed three percent from the edge of the pavement to the <br />property line and the maximum grade of the on-site driveway <br />shall not exceed ten percent. <br />(d) Parking Areas. The design of off-street parking <br />areas and their service driveways shall be in accordance <br />with the stanaards as set forth in Section 1165.06 of the <br />Zoning Code. <br />(e) Public Sidewalks. WHERE STREETS AND RESIDENTIAL <br />SUBDIVISIONS ARE CONSTRUCTED PURSU ANT TO SUBSECTIONS (a)(1) <br />AND (2) HEREINABOV E, sidewalks shall be provided on both <br />sides of the street. However, the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission may waive this requirement in certain residential <br />districts for cul-de-sac streets serving less than fifteen <br />dwelling units or for loop streets serving less than thirty <br />dwelling units. Walks shall be extended to connect with <br />existing walks or to the boundaries of the subdivision if <br />walks are not accessible. <br />On local residential streets, sidewalks shall be <br />located in the public right-of-way so that the inner line <br />is approximately six inches from the property line. On <br />corner lots each sidewalk shall be extended to the curb. <br />In residential developments walks shall be not less than <br />five feet wide and not less than ten feet wide in business <br />developments. <br />Sidewalks shall be constructed of concrete four <br />inches thick. The c3esign anc] construction shall be in <br />accorc3ance with the standards on file with the municipal <br />Engineer. <br />IN RES IDENTIAL SUBDIV IS IONS WHERE STREETS ARE <br />CONSTRUCTED PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (a) (3) HEREINABOVE, <br />SIDEWALKS SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUCTED CONTEMPORANEOUS WITH <br />THE STREET CONSTRUCTION. THE DEV ELOPER SHALL GRADE THE <br />TREELAWN ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET SO THAT SIDEWALKS <br />MAY BE CONSTRUCTED AT A FUTURE DATE. SUCH GRADING SHALL <br />BE DONE IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE STANDARDS ON FILE WITH THE <br />VILLAGE ENGINEER. <br />Section 3. Section 1119.16 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby amended to read as follows: (Deleted <br />material appears like this and new material appears like THIS) <br />1119.16 Certification of Completion; Maintenance Bond <br />With respect to all improvements which have been <br />installed by the developer prior to the granting of <br />final approval of the subdivision, the Village Engineer <br />shall furnish to the Planning & Zoning Commisison, at the <br />time that request is made for final approval, a certifica- <br />tion that all such improvements have been constructed and <br />installed according to the approved plans theretor, and
