ORDINANCE N0. 85-16 <br />Page -25- <br />(c) Signs which are placed on utility poles, trees, <br />fences, yard structures or other signs. <br />(d) Attraction devices. <br />(e) Billboards, portable signs, roof signs, projection <br />signs and all similar signs. <br />(f) Abandoned signs. <br />(g) Neon signs. <br />(h) Signs which are placed on or over a municipal, county <br />or state right-of-way except as may otherwise be provided in <br />this Chapter. <br />(i) Mural or pictorial signs. <br />(j) Vehicle signs. <br />1185.19 Conformity. <br />All signs located within the municipality as of the <br />effective date of this ordinance shall be in full conformity with the <br />provisions of this ordinance within five (5) years from its effective <br />date. <br />1185,20 Severability. <br />If any provision of this Chapter or the application thereof <br />to any person or circumstances held invalid or unconstitutional by any <br />Court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed a <br />separate, distinct and independent provision, and neither the <br />remainder of the Chapter nor the application of such provision to <br />other persons or circumstances shall be affected thereby. <br />1185.21 Review. <br />This Chapter shall be reviewed by the Building Commissioner <br />and Council every three (3) years in order to modify, alter, or update <br />its provisions or application if necessary or desired. <br />1185.99 Penalty. <br />Any person violating the provisions of this Chapter shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree. Each day that a sign is <br />erected or maintained in violation of this Chapter shall constitute a <br />separate and distinct offense.
