(b) Each of the following constitutes prima facie evidence of criminal purpose: (1) Possession or coritrol of a stun gun under circumstances indicating such stun gun is intended for criminal use. (2) Possession or control of a stun gun in attempting or commiting any criminal offense, or in fleeing immediately after such attempt or offense. (c) Whoever violates any provision of subsection (a) hereinabove is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. 549.14 Criminal Use of Stun Gun Prohibited. (a) No person shall knowinqly use any stun gun in attempting or committing any criminal offense, or in fleeing immediately af ter such attempt or offense. (b) Whoever violates any provision of this Section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. Sect,ion 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance in whole or in part are repealed to ?the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. Sect,ion 3. That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance.with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for the reasons set f orth in the preamble hereto.
