ORDINANCE N0. 86- 3 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council President Richard C.. Etzler <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS <br />1165.07(a) AND 1173.09(h) OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, PERTAINING TO ILLUMINATION OF <br />SIGNS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 1165.07(a) of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(Deleted material appears like ties and new material appears <br />like THIS) <br />Chapter 1165 <br />Local Business District <br /> <br />1165.07 Sign Regulations.. <br />All signs in a Local Business District shall be designed, <br />erected, altered, reconstructed, moved or maintained <br />in accordance with the regulations set forth as follows: <br />(a) The following subsections of Section 1173.09 shall <br />apply to Local Business Districts as follows: <br />(a) Definitions and Types V <br />(b) Design Types <br />(c) Sign Area <br />(f) Sign Location (except delete subsection 1(B); <br />subsection 1(C) shall read "Any wall sign <br />shall not extend beyond the corner of a building") <br />(g) Height of Signs (except maximum height shall <br />not exceed 20 feet) <br />(h) Illumination of Signs, (except that no illuminated <br />signs shall be permitted in the window or on <br />the door of any premises. Illuminated signs, as <br />the same are permitted by this section are limited <br />to the exterior of the building only) ALL <br />ILLUMINATED SIGNS SHALL BE TURNED OFF WHEN THE <br />PREMISES IS CLOSED FOR BUSINESS. <br />Section 2. Section 1173.09(h) of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />
