M.V. ORDINANCE N0. 86-9 <br />Page -2- <br />3. Fire Department (cont'd.) Annual Salary Hourly Rate <br />(e) All full-time firefighters who are <br />paramedics shall receive an additional <br />$100.00 per month compensation. <br />Station duty, drill and/or training whenever <br />on scheduled station duty time shall be <br />compensated at 57.05 per hour. Those on <br />scheduled station duty time are not <br />entitled to the first hour call-out pay <br />provision. <br />(f) The municipality shall, in addition to the foregoing <br />compensation for members of the Fire Department, provide <br />accident insurance through State Fireman's Association, <br />and pay the premiums therefor. <br />Section 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this <br />ordinance in whole or in part are repealed to the extent necessary to <br />avoid conflict with this ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for <br />the reason that the enactment hereof will provide reasonable <br />compensation for the services rendered by employees of the Fire <br />Department. It shall therefore take effect immediately upon passage <br />by the affirmative vote of not less than four (4) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time <br />allowed by law. <br />5/22./86 _ ---. <br />First Reading: // % <br />Richard C.
