ORDINANCE NO. 86°15 <br />Page -15- <br />-~ Review Commission then those elected will <br />meet and appoint sufficient members to meet <br />the minimum complement of the Commission; <br />that the Clerk of Council notify the members <br />elected to the Commission within seven (7) <br />days of their election of the requirement <br />to hold an initial meeting within thirty (30) <br />days of their election; and requiring that <br />the Council provide funds for the Charter <br />Review Commission to retain the services of <br />a recording secretary and legal counsel to <br />be selected by the Commission? <br />Q. Shall Section 9.1 of the Charter of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />be enacted to read as follows: <br />"Whenever the Charter of the Municipalty is amended <br />pursuant to recommendations made and submitted to the <br />electorate by a duly elected Charter Review Commission, <br />the Mayor and Council shall cause revised copies of <br />the Charter to be printed and distributed to every <br />residence within the Municipality. Additional copies <br />of the revised Charter shall be kept at the Village <br />Hall and be made available upon request of any <br />resident. If the Charter is amended by the Council <br />or by initiative petition then the Mayor and Council <br />shall have printed and kept on file at the Village <br />Hall copies of such amendments to be made available <br />to any resident upon request. <br />The question to appear on the ballot shall be as follows: <br />(Q) Shall the Charter of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />be amended so as to require that the Mayor and <br />Council prepare and distribute to each residence <br />within the municipality a revised copy of the <br />Charter if the same has been amended by <br />recommendation of the Charter Review Commission <br />and to furthermore require that the Mayor and <br />Council keep on file in the Village Hall copies <br />of any Charter amendments resulting from the <br />action of Council or initiative petition? <br />
