Members of the Charter Review <br />Commission shall be nominated and elected in accordance <br />with the provisions of Article VI of this Charter. <br />In the event that less than seven (7) persons are <br />elected to a Charter Review Commission then those <br />members elected will meet and appoint sufficient <br />members to bring the complement of the Commission to <br />seven (7). <br />Within seven (7) days of the election of a Charter <br />Review Commission the Clerk of Council shall notify <br />each member elected to the Commission that the <br />Commission shall schedule its first meeting within <br />thirty (3,0) days after the election thereof. At <br />that initial meeting the Commission shall elect <br />one of its members as Chairman. A vacancy on the <br />Commission shall be filled by appointment by a majority <br />vote of all remaining members of the Commission. A <br />member .so appointed shall serve as though originally <br />elected to such position. The members of the Commission <br />shall serve without compensation unless otherwise <br />provided by Ordinance. The Council shall provide <br />funds for the Commission to retain the services of <br />a recording secretary and legal counsel to be selected <br />by the Commission. All proposed amendments, revisions, <br />and alterations to this Charter, approved by a majority <br />vote of any Charter Review Commission, shall be submitted <br />to the Council which shall submit the same, without <br />alteration, to the electors for their approval or <br />rejection, on a separate ballot at the next General <br />Election in November following the election of the <br />members of the Commission. If a majority of the <br />electors voting on the same shall approve such <br />amendment, revision or alteration, the same shall <br />become a part of this Charter. When more than one <br />amendment, revision or alteration to this Charter <br />shall be submitted to the electors at the same time, <br />they shall be so submitted as to enable the electors <br />to vote on each amendment, revision or alteration <br />separately." <br />The question to appear on the ballot shall be as follows: <br />(P) Shall the Charter of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />be amended so as to require that candidates <br />for the~Charter Review Commission shall have <br />physically resided within the municipality <br />for a period of three (3) continuous years <br />immediately prior to their election; that the <br />Charter Review Commission shall consist of <br />a minimum of seven (7) members and a maximum <br />of eleven (11) members; that if less than <br />seven (7) members are elected to a Charter <br />
