Carmen <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1(A)(2) OF ORDINANCE <br />N0. 85-27 PERTAINING TO WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES <br />OF N1AYF IELD V ILLAG E, OH I0, SO AS TO PROVIDE <br />ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR FULLTIME POLICE <br />OFFICERS WHO HAVE PARAMEDIC CERTIFICATION, <br />REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT <br />HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 1(A)(2) OF ORDINANCE N0. 85-27, <br />enacted by the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on December 23, <br />1985, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 1 Effective January 1, 1986, the wages, <br />benefits and other terms and conditions of employment <br />for employees of Mayfield Village, Ohio, shall be as <br />follows: <br />A. Wages <br /> <br />2. Police Department <br />~ ~ ~ <br />(i) ALL FULLTIME POLICE OFFICERS WHO ARE CERTIFIED PARAMEDICS <br />SHALL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL $100 PER MONTH COMPENSATION. <br />Section 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this <br />ordinance in whole or in part are hereby repealed to the extent <br />necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />• <br />
