ORDINANCE N0. 86-31 Page -2- SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($75.00) base fee plus five dollars ($5.00) for each 1,000 square feet or fraction thereof ~o~- ~~i- bt~~ldi~gs- ~a~d- ~~~t~E~t~~~~s- ti-ti~~-r- tli~a~n- t~h-o-s~e- -h-e-r~tbfrtrr~ ~is~~ed~ FOR NEW MULTI-FAMILY AND COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS; SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($75.00) BASE FEE PLUS THREE DOLLARS ($3.00) FOR EACH 1,000 SQUARE FEET OR FRACTION THEREOF FOR ADDITIONS OR ALTERATIONS TO MULTI-FAMILY AND COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS; TWENTY DOLLARS ($20.00) FOR DECKS; TWENTY DOLLARS ($20.00) FOR SWIMMING POOLS; TWENTY DOLLARS ($20.00) FOR ALL BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES OTHER THAN THOSE HERETOFORE LISTED, which fee shall be collected by the Board and paid to the Finance Director before the Board will make any review. No building permit shall be issued by the Building Commissioner unless plans and specifications for the building shall have been first approved in writing by the Board upon the affirmative vote of a majority of its members present at a meeting of the Board at which there is a quorum. Plans must be submitted in triplicate and shall include the following: (a) Site and location plan, which shall show the existing adjacent finished grades and proposed finished grades relative to street grade. The plans should include sewer connection elevations. (b) Basement or foundation plans. (c) All other floor plans. (d) All exterior elevations. (e) Roof plan for flat roof structures. (f) Sufficient scaled details to define the character of the design. (g) Location of garages and driveways should be shown on the plot plan. (h) All drawings shall be shown at a definite scale, as indicated, and shall be reproduced at the scale down. The drawings and plans submitted shall be drawn as the building is proposed to be built. A schedule of exterior materials, finish and colors, must be shown on the drawings submitted. The Board may request samples of exterior materials. Plans for remodeling buildings which affect the exterior appearance shall be accompanied by a drawing sufficient to show the existing building or with photograhs of the existing building and surroundings. Section 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance in whole or in part are hereby repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. Section 3.
