ORDINANCE N0. 86-31 <br />Page -2- <br />SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($75.00) base fee plus five dollars <br />($5.00) for each 1,000 square feet or fraction thereof <br />~o~- ~~i- bt~~ldi~gs- ~a~d- ~~~t~E~t~~~~s- ti-ti~~-r- tli~a~n- t~h-o-s~e- -h-e-r~tbfrtrr~ <br />~is~~ed~ FOR NEW MULTI-FAMILY AND COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS; <br />SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($75.00) BASE FEE PLUS THREE DOLLARS <br />($3.00) FOR EACH 1,000 SQUARE FEET OR FRACTION THEREOF <br />FOR ADDITIONS OR ALTERATIONS TO MULTI-FAMILY AND COMMERCIAL <br />BUILDINGS; TWENTY DOLLARS ($20.00) FOR DECKS; TWENTY <br />DOLLARS ($20.00) FOR SWIMMING POOLS; TWENTY DOLLARS ($20.00) <br />FOR ALL BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES OTHER THAN THOSE HERETOFORE <br />LISTED, which fee shall be collected by the Board and paid <br />to the Finance Director before the Board will make any <br />review. No building permit shall be issued by the Building <br />Commissioner unless plans and specifications for the <br />building shall have been first approved in writing by <br />the Board upon the affirmative vote of a majority of its <br />members present at a meeting of the Board at which there <br />is a quorum. <br />Plans must be submitted in triplicate and shall include <br />the following: <br />(a) Site and location plan, which shall show the <br />existing adjacent finished grades and proposed <br />finished grades relative to street grade. The <br />plans should include sewer connection elevations. <br />(b) Basement or foundation plans. <br />(c) All other floor plans. <br />(d) All exterior elevations. <br />(e) Roof plan for flat roof structures. <br />(f) Sufficient scaled details to define the <br />character of the design. <br />(g) Location of garages and driveways should be <br />shown on the plot plan. <br />(h) All drawings shall be shown at a definite scale, <br />as indicated, and shall be reproduced at the scale <br />down. The drawings and plans submitted shall be <br />drawn as the building is proposed to be built. <br />A schedule of exterior materials, finish and colors, must be <br />shown on the drawings submitted. The Board may request samples <br />of exterior materials. Plans for remodeling buildings which <br />affect the exterior appearance shall be accompanied by a drawing <br />sufficient to show the existing building or with photograhs of <br />the existing building and surroundings. <br />Section 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this <br />ordinance in whole or in part are hereby repealed to the extent <br />necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />
