M.V. ORDINANCE N0. 87-8 <br />Page -12- <br />K. Travel Allowance and Conference Expense. <br />1. Twenty cents ($.20) per mile is hereby allowed to reimburse <br />employees of the City who are required to make trips on City business <br />in their own automobiles, other than transportation to and from work, <br />to be paid from the Treasury upon approval of the Mayor and the <br />Director of Finance. <br />2. Any elected or appointed municipal officer, deputy, or <br />assistant, or an employee of the Municipal Corporation, may attend, at <br />the expense of the Municipal Corporation, any conference or convention <br />relating to municipal affairs if authorized by the Mayor and the <br />Department Head, and if the fiscal officer of the municipal <br />corporation certifies that funds are appropriated and available for <br />such purpose. Such person shall be reimbursed for meals and lodging. <br />L. Educational Benefit. <br />All permanent full-time employees who have earned an Associate <br />Degree relating to the field of their employment shall be entitled to <br />additional compensation equal to two percent (2%) of their base pay. <br />All full-time employees who have earned a Bachelor's Degree related to <br />their field of employment shall receive additional compensation equal <br />to f our percent (4%) of their base pay. <br />M. Salaries of the Mayor and Council. <br />The annual salaries of the Mayor and Council of Mayfield <br />Village, commencing January 1, 1986 and continuing thereafter <br />until further order of Council, are hereby fixed as follows: <br />Official Annual SalarX <br />Mayor $10,000.00 <br />Council President 4,200.00 <br />Council Members 3,600.00 <br />N. Bonds. <br />Each of the following officers and employees of the Municipality, <br />in addition to such others as Council may from time-to-time <br />designate, shall furnish a bond for the faithful performance of <br />the duties of his office or position in the sum indicated: <br />Mayor $25,000.00 <br />President of Council 25,000.00 <br />Finance Director 50,000.00 <br />Assistant Finance Director 25,000.00 <br />Building Commissioner 10,000.00 <br />0. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to make <br />payment on December 31, 1987 for the entire pay period ending
