M.V. ORDINANCE N0. 87-32 <br />Page -2- <br />services shall be at the then current rate paid by <br />the Municipality. <br />(b) In the event that the deposit by an applicant as <br />required pursuant to this section is insufficient <br />to reimburse the Municipality, then the applicant <br />faap SHALL be required to deposit additional funds <br />IN EQUAL AMOUNTS OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS <br />($250.00) as requested by the DRtrri-c-'r?1rty BUILDING <br />COMMISSIONER. <br />(c) The balance of any deposit remaining after the <br />payment of all charges shall be refunded to the <br />applicant within sixty days following the completion <br />of the constructiono the granting or refusal of <br />a special use permit; the approval of the preliminary <br />anci final site development plans or the granting or <br />refusal of an application for rezoning. <br />Section 2. Section 1309.20 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby enacted to read as follows: <br />1309020 Inspections by Enqineer; Deposit Fund <br />The Engineer shall check and approve all plans, profiles <br />cross-sections, specifications and other pertinent work details <br />before any pavement, water, sewer or utility construction is <br />begun and shall inspect such construction in progress. There <br />shall be established an Inspection Deposit Fund wherein the <br />owner, contractor, developer or utility, prior to commencing <br />any construction hereunder, shall deposit with the Building <br />Commissioner, to cover inspection costs, the follawing sumo <br />(a) For construction less than One Million Dollars <br />($1,000,000.00), the sum of Six Hundred Dollars <br />($600.00) unless such deposit is reduced by written <br />approval of the Engineer due to the size of the <br />project. Whenever such Inspection Deposit is <br />reduced below the sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) <br />the Building Commissioner shall require the deposit <br />of an additional Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) aeposit <br />to be made by such owner, contractor, developer, or <br />utility such that the balance in the said deposit is <br />not reduced below the sum of Four iIundred Dollars ($400v00) <br />(b) For construction in excess of One Million Dollars <br />($1,000,000.00) but less than Two Million Dollars <br />($2,000,000.00) the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) <br />Whenever such Inspection Deposit is reduced below the <br />sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) the Building <br />Commissioner shall require the deposit of an additional Two <br />Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) deposit to be made by such <br />owner, contractor, developer, or utility such that the <br />balance in the said deposit is not reduced below the sum of <br />Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars (5750.00).
