M.V. ORDINANCE N0. 87-42 <br />Page -2° <br />exhibits, or points a replica of a handgun or other firearm at <br />another person to coerce or frighten said person or to compel <br />or attempt to compel said person to adopt a particular course <br />of conduct or who in any manner unlawfully uses a replica of <br />a handgun or other firearm in the course of any violation of <br />law is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degreea A replica <br />of a handgun or other firearm shall include, but not be limited <br />to, a toy weapon that appears to be a handgun or other firearmo <br />Section 2m That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121022 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Sect'on This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />healtho safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for <br />the reasons set forth in the preamble hereto.
