ORDINANCE N0. 88- 24 Page -2- (d) A copy of the application and permit shall be delivered to the Chief of Police so that traffic may be supervised, if necessary, and so that he or she may assign a police officer to verify that the sale is being held in accordance with this Chapter. (e) If the sale is to be held in a condominium unit, the applicant must provide a letter from an officer or agent of the condominium association approving the appli- cation. 1385.03 DISPLAY OF PERMIT. Each license issued under this Ordinance must be prominently displayed on the premises upon which the garage sale is conducted through the entire period of the licensed sale. 1385.04 HOURS AND MERCHANDISE PERMITTED. (a) No person shall conduct a home sale except between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., or as regulated by the Chief of Police or a person designated by him, because of traffic or weather conditions. No home sale shall be conducted on Sunday. (b) No person shall sell any household furniture, furnishings, equipment or goods which were brought into the residence or onto the property for the purpose of selling the same at such sale. All items for sale must be the personal property of one (1) or more persons residing at the sale location and shall be displayed in the house and/or the garage only. 1385.05. ADVERTISING SIGNS. No resident shall post more than one (1) temporary sign advertising a sale. Such temporary sign shall be located only on the lot on which the sale is to be con- ducted. Such home sale sign shall not exceed four and one-half (4-1/2) square feet in area and such sign shall not be illuminated or animated. 1385.06. PENALTY. Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this Chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than Two
