ORDINANCE N0. 88- 24 <br />Page -2- <br />(d) A copy of the application and permit shall be <br />delivered to the Chief of Police so that traffic may be <br />supervised, if necessary, and so that he or she may assign <br />a police officer to verify that the sale is being held in <br />accordance with this Chapter. <br />(e) If the sale is to be held in a condominium unit, <br />the applicant must provide a letter from an officer or <br />agent of the condominium association approving the appli- <br />cation. <br />1385.03 DISPLAY OF PERMIT. <br />Each license issued under this Ordinance must be <br />prominently displayed on the premises upon which the <br />garage sale is conducted through the entire period of <br />the licensed sale. <br />1385.04 HOURS AND MERCHANDISE PERMITTED. <br />(a) No person shall conduct a home sale except <br />between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., or as <br />regulated by the Chief of Police or a person designated <br />by him, because of traffic or weather conditions. No <br />home sale shall be conducted on Sunday. <br />(b) No person shall sell any household furniture, <br />furnishings, equipment or goods which were brought into <br />the residence or onto the property for the purpose of <br />selling the same at such sale. All items for sale must <br />be the personal property of one (1) or more persons <br />residing at the sale location and shall be displayed <br />in the house and/or the garage only. <br />1385.05. ADVERTISING SIGNS. <br />No resident shall post more than one (1) temporary <br />sign advertising a sale. Such temporary sign shall be <br />located only on the lot on which the sale is to be con- <br />ducted. Such home sale sign shall not exceed four and <br />one-half (4-1/2) square feet in area and such sign shall <br />not be illuminated or animated. <br />1385.06. PENALTY. <br />Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the <br />provisions of this Chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of <br />the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than Two <br />
