AMENDED 05/16/89 ORDINANCE N0. 89-8 " INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1313.03 AND 1313.06 - OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERMITTING SUSPENSION OF CONTRACTORS' REGISTRATION WITH THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Sections 1313.03 and 1313.06 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, are hereby amended to read as follows: (Deleted material appears like thrs and new material appears like THIS) Chapter 1313 Registration of Contractors 1313.03 Appeal. Any applicant to whom a certificate of registration has been denied, SUSPENDED OR REVOKED, by the Building Commissioner may, WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS, appeal such decision OF THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER to Council, wiiese-decision WHICH SHALL PROMPTLY HEAR THE EVIDENCE OF THE APPLICANT AND OF THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER, AND WHICH MAY, AT THE CONCLUSION OF SUCH HEARING, SUSTAIN, REVERSE OR MODIFY THE DECISION OF THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER. THE APPEAL SHALL BE IN WRITING AND SHALL BE FILED WITH CLERK OF COUNCIL WHO SHALL REPORT THE FILING OF SUCH APPEAL AND TRANSMIT ALL PAPERS FOR FILING TO COUNCIL AT ITS NEXT REGULAR MEETING. 1313.06 Revocation and SUSPENSION The certificate of registration may be revoked at any time by the Build- ing Commissioner for violation of tk'rs-Btzsid'rng-Eede-or-ordirrarrces-or-atlier- ?aws-ar-ru?es-ar-regcr?atrorrs-of-tlreM1xrr=ciga?=ty,--ar-attrEr-caas?-wtr=ctr,--i-tt-ttre agininn_nf_?he_Caxuu?ss?ax?.a?-}u????.??s-s??l?-a???er? ANY LAW OF THE STATE OR THE MUNICIPALITY, ANY RULE OR REGULATION PRESCRIBED THEREUNDER, OR ANY REASONABLE ORDER OF THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER MADE PURSUANT THERETO. SUCH LICENSE MAY BE RENEWED UPON FURTHER APPLICATION AND UPON SATISFACTORY RECOMMENDATION PER CITY INSPECTOR TO THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER THAT ANY NECESSARY CORRECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE OR VIOLATIONS ABATED, AND UPON REASONABLE ASSURANCE OF COMPLIANCE WITH SUCH LAWS, REGULATIONS AND ORDERS.
