ORDINANCE N0. 89- 8 Page -2- SHOULD THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER DETERMINE THAT A PERSON TO WHOM A CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION HAS BEEN ISSUED HAS FAILED TO COMPLETE ITEMS OF WORK SPECIFIED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL OCCUPANCY PERMIT PURSUANT TO SECTION 1309.04 OF THE BUILDING CODE WITHIN THE TIME SPECIFIED IN SAID CONDITIONAL OCCUPANCY PERMIT, WEATHER PERMITTING, TI-E BUILDING COMMISSIONER SHALL SUSPEND THE REGISTRATION OF THE CONTRACTOR TO PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION WITHIN THE CITY. THE SUSPENSION SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THE INCOMPLETE ITEMS OF THE CONDITIONAL OCCUPANCY PERMIT HAVE BEEN CORRECTED OR COMPLETED AND A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE RESIDENTIAL DWELLING OR OTHER CLASS OF BUILDING PURSUANT TO SECTION 1309.02 OF THE BUILDING CODE. SECTION 2. Al1 prior Ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance, in whole or in part, are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this Ordinance. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4.
