Uniform Allowance and Maintenance <br />1. Uniform items for Police Department employees shall conform to the <br />specifications required by the Department's Manual of Rules and <br />Regulations, subject to the approval of the Chief of Police. Al1 <br />items purchased by the Municipality shall be and remain the property <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio. <br />2. The Municipality shall purchase for each newly employed full-time <br />police officer having arrest powers all items listed on Schedule "A", <br />attached hereto. Each newly employed full-time member of the Fire <br />Department shall be reimbursed for the costs of uniforms purchased <br />by that member for use in the member's employment in an amount not <br />exceeding the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). Each newly <br />employed full-time member of the Police Department not having arrest <br />powers shall be reimbursed for the cost of uniforms for us in that <br />member's employment in an amount not to exceed the sum of Four Hundred <br />Dollars ($400.00). There shall be no additional uniform allowance <br />during the first year of employment for any of the above-mentioned <br />employees.
