FAILED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 39-32 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 1153.01 OF . <br />THE PLANNING AND ZONING CODE OF <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE AND ENACTING <br />NEW CHAPTER 1159 THEREOF ESTABLISHING A NEW <br />RECREATION AND RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT U-1 (R & R) DISTRICT <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION l. Title Five of the Planning and Zoning Code is hereby amended <br />by amending existing Section 1153.01, District and Zone Map, and by enacting <br />new Chapter 1159, Recreation and Residential Development U-1 (R & R) District, <br />so that amended 1153.01 and new Chapter 1159 shall read as follows: <br />1153.01 DISTRICT AND ZONE MAP. <br />For the purpose of regulating and restricting the location of trades, <br />industires, apartment houses two-family houses and other uses of property, the <br />number of square feet of lot area per family housed, the width of lots, the <br />location and size of yards and the height of buildings, the Municipality his <br />hereby divided into ten (10) classes of use districts termed respectively: <br />Class U-1 Or Single-Family House Districts, <br />Class U-1 (R & R) or Recreation and Residential Development Dis- <br />trict, <br />Class U-2 or Two-Family House Districts, <br />Class U-3 or Apartment House Districts, <br />Class U-3AA.A or Restricted Multi-Story Apartment House District, <br />Local Business District, <br />Small Office Building District, <br />Motorist Service District, <br />Office Laboratory District, and <br />Production-Distribution District, <br />and into two classes of height districts termed respectively: <br />Class H-1, and <br />Class H-2 <br />and into three classes of area districts termed respectively: <br />Class A-1, <br />Class A-2, and <br />Class A-3; <br />all as shown on the revised district and zone map prepared by the F.A. Pease <br />Engineering Co., and duly approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission and <br />by Council and dated July 19, 1948, as amended, which revised district and <br />zone map is made a part hereof. The use, height and area districts designa- <br />tions shown on the map are hereby established. The map designations and the <br />map designation rules which accompany the map are hereby declared to be a part <br />thereof. No building or premises shall be erected or used except on
