ORDINANCE NO. <br />Page -6- <br />Ordinance the same as if such terms, conditions and provisions were <br />fully written herein. <br />Section 15. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase <br />of the ordinance is for any reason held illegal, invalid or uncon- <br />stitutional, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the <br />ordinance and any portions in conflict are hereby repealed. <br />Section 16. The Company shall, without charge, install <br />into every public elementary and secondary school regularly attended by <br />residents of Mayfield Village and private school buildings, police <br />and fire station and City Hall, within the Village a cable connection <br />sufficient to enable each such building to receive one (1) television <br />set all standard cable television programs transmitted and distributed <br />over The Company's cable television system, provided that The Company's <br />transmission lines are within 150 feet of the building. If extensions <br />beyond one set are desired or if transmission lines are further than <br />150 feet from the building, The Company will provide such service as <br />is desired at a price equal to The Company's cost for time and materials, <br />less the cost of such time and materials for the first 150 feet. The <br />Company shall also provide a second outlet on each such public and <br />private school building, police and fire station and City Hall at no <br />monthly charge, provided, however, the cost of installation of such <br />second outlet shall be borne by the entity that occupies the specific <br />buildings. In addition, the Mayfield Village School Board may, at <br />its option and expense, interconnect each public school building's <br />internal wiring to The Company's cable line and throuqh the intercon- <br />nection may provide, in each classroom and meeting room, free of charge, <br />all standard television system, provided, however, that such inter- <br />connection is technically compatible. <br />Section 17. The Company shall remove all equipment, installa- <br />tion and facilities herein authorized and shall restore all public <br />property for public use in as good condition as the abutting portion <br />thereof at The Company's own cost and expense within ninety (90) days <br />after the expiration or termination or revocation of this franchise. <br />Section 18. The rights and privileges herein granted shall <br />not be assignable or transferable in any bankruptcy proceedings, <br />trusteeships, receivership or by operation of any law, in which event <br />this franchise shall terminate forthwith, nor shall said Company, sell, <br />lease, assign or otherwise alienate this franchise or any privileqe <br />hereunder without the prior approval of Council and subject to such <br />terms and conditions as Council may provide. <br />Section 19. The Village, at its option, and The Company <br />shall agree on a regularly scheduled 30-minute minimum time period <br />for the Village to present access programs over the access channel <br />facilities of The Company in accordance with the Rules and Regulations <br />of the Federal Communications Commission.
