(1) When removed from their respective truck beds, pick-up <br />(slide-in) campers and truck cabs are called unmounted campers, <br />and the truck chassis is no longer considered a recreational <br />vehicle. <br />(d) The chassis mounts, motor homes and nini-motor homes are recreational <br />structures constructed integrally ioith a truck and/or motor van chassis and incapable <br />of being separated therefrom. The truck or motor van chassis may have single or <br />double rear wheels. <br />(e) Converted or chopped vans are recreational structures which are created <br />by altering or changing an existing auto van to make it into a recreational vehicle <br />meeting the requirements of Section I hereof. <br />(f) A boat or snowmobile trailer is a vehicle on which a boat or snowmobile <br />may be transported and which is towable by a passenger car, station wagon, pick-up <br />truck or a mobile, recreational vehicle as above defined. <br />(g) Parking, as used in the Ordinance, means the stopping of a recreational <br />vehicle upon public or private property in the Village for a period not to exceed <br />seventy-two (72) hours maximum, excepting as noted in Section V of this Ordinance, <br />for the purpose of minor maintenance, use preparation or after-use cleanup. <br />(h) Storing, as used in this Ordinance, means openly locating any recreational <br />vehicle upon public or private property in the Village which does not exceed seven <br />(7) feet in height, for a period exceeding seventy-two (72) hours in duration. Any <br />recreational vehicle exceeding seven (7) feet in height may be openly stored upon <br />any private or public property within the Village of Mayfield, provided such <br />stoxage meets the requirements as set forth in Section 6 of this Ordinance. <br />Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any of the vehicles defined in Section 1 <br />to be used as a place of residence in any form. <br />Section 3. It shall be unlawful for any connection of electricity, water, <br />natural gas, or sanitary sewer lines to be made to the vehicles defined in Section 1 <br />except as follows: <br />(1) A water hose to be used to flush or fill the vehicle's <br />water storage tank. <br />(2) An electrical line to be used during parking for the <br />purpose of minor maintenance, use preparation or after-use <br />cleanup. <br />Section 4. Parking and/or storage of recreational vehicles is limited to <br />residents of the Village, excepting visitors of residents who may apply for a permit <br />from the Building Official of the Village, which will permit parking for a period not <br />to exceed ten (10) days. <br />Section 5. It shall be unlawful to park recreational vehicles beyond a period <br />? of seventy-two (72) hours within a one hundred and twenty (120) hour period for minor <br />b repairs, use preparation or after-use cleanup except as follows: <br />(1) Parking for an additional period of three (3) days <br />-2-
