. <br />?• <br />assisting, extra tag axle and wheels mounted either on the camper chassis or truck <br />chassis behind the truck's rear wheels. These campers can be readily demounted from <br />the truck beds. <br />(i) When removed from their respective truck beds, pick-up (slide-in) <br />campers and truck cabs are called unmounted campers, and the truck <br />chassis is no longer considered a recreational vehicle. <br />(d) The chassis mounts, motor homes and mini-motor homes are recreational <br />structures constructed integrally with a truck and/or motor van chassis and incapable <br />of being separated therefrom. The truck or motor van chassis may have single or <br />double rear wheels. <br />(e) Converted or chopped vans are recreational structures which are created <br />by altering or changing an existing auto van to make it into a recreational vehicle <br />meeting the requirements of Section 1 hereof. <br />(f) A boat or snowmobile trailer is a veHicle on which a boat or snowmobile <br />may be transported and which is towable by a passenger car, station wagon, pick-up <br />truck or a mobile recreational vehicle as above defined. <br />(g) Parking, as used in this Ordinance, means the stopping of a recreational <br />vehicle upon private property in the Village for a period not to exceed seventy-two <br />hours, except for the limited purpose of minor maintenance, use preparation or after- <br />use cleanup. <br />(h) Storing,as used in this ordinance,means openly locating any recreational <br />vehicle upon private property in the Village for a period exceeding 72 hours in <br />duration. A recreational vehicle may be openly stored upon any private property <br />within the Village provided such storage is in conformance with Section 6 of this <br />o rdinance . Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any of the vehicles defined in Section 1 <br />to be used as a place of residence in any form. <br />Section 3. It shall be unlawful £or any connection of electricity, water, <br />natural gas, or sanitary sewer lines to be made to the vehicles defined in Section 1 <br />except as follows: <br />(i) A water hose to be used to flush or fill the vehicle's water <br />storage tank. <br />(ii) An electrical line to be used during parking for the purpose <br />of minor maintenance, use preparation or after-use cleanup. <br />Section 4. Parking and/or storage of recreational vehicles is limited to <br />residents of the Village, excepting visitors of residents who may apply for a permit <br />from the Building Department of the Village, which will permit parking for a period <br />not to exceed ten (10) days. <br />Section 5. It shall be unlawful to park a recreational vehicle longer than <br />seventy-two (72) hours during any one hundred and twenty (120) hour period except upon <br />application to the Building Department for a permit therefor. The Building Depart- <br />ment may grant such pexmit £or an additional period not in excess of three days <br />during any calendar month. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
