-z- Section 4. The total assessment against each lot and parcel o£ land by unit shall,?be payable in cash to the Finance Director of Mayfield Village within thirty (30) days after passage of this Ordinance, or, at the opt3on of the property owner assessed, to be paid in ten years, with interest, in twenty (20) semi-annual installments with interest at the same rate as is bome by the bonds issued in anticipation of the collection of such assessments. All assessment and installments thereof which have not been paid to the expiration;of said 30-day period shall be certified by the Clerk of this Council to the County Auditor to be placed by him on the tax duplicate and collected at the same time and in the same manner as other taxes are collected, as provided by law. Section 5. The Clerk of this Council be, and she hereby is, authorized and directed to cause notice o£ the passage of this Ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in Mayfield Village as required by law. Section 6. The Clerk of this Council is authorized and directed to keep said adjusted assessments on file in her office for so long as any of them remain impaid. Section 7. The Clerk of this Council be and she hereby is authorized and directed to cause notice of the levying of assessments herein provided for her to be filed with the Coimty Auditor within 20 days after the passage of this Ordinance. Section 8. Cotmcil declares this to be an emergency Ordinance necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare, by reason of the.necessity to provide for the payment of the above described improvement; where- fore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and e££ect from and after the date of its passage and approval by the Ma Adopted: December 20, 1976 Attest: CLERK OF COUNCIL .
