<br />-z- <br /> <br />Section 4. The total assessment against each lot and parcel o£ land by unit <br />shall,?be payable in cash to the Finance Director of Mayfield Village within thirty <br />(30) days after passage of this Ordinance, or, at the opt3on of the property owner <br />assessed, to be paid in ten years, with interest, in twenty (20) semi-annual <br />installments with interest at the same rate as is bome by the bonds issued in <br />anticipation of the collection of such assessments. All assessment and installments <br />thereof which have not been paid to the expiration;of said 30-day period shall be <br />certified by the Clerk of this Council to the County Auditor to be placed by him <br />on the tax duplicate and collected at the same time and in the same manner as other <br />taxes are collected, as provided by law. <br />Section 5. The Clerk of this Council be, and she hereby is, authorized and <br />directed to cause notice o£ the passage of this Ordinance to be published once <br />in a newspaper of general circulation in Mayfield Village as required by law. <br />Section 6. The Clerk of this Council is authorized and directed to keep said <br />adjusted assessments on file in her office for so long as any of them remain impaid. <br />Section 7. The Clerk of this Council be and she hereby is authorized and <br />directed to cause notice of the levying of assessments herein provided for her to be <br />filed with the Coimty Auditor within 20 days after the passage of this Ordinance. <br />Section 8. Cotmcil declares this to be an emergency Ordinance necessary for <br />the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare, by reason of <br />the.necessity to provide for the payment of the above described improvement; where- <br />fore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and e££ect from and after the date <br />of its passage and approval by the Ma <br />Adopted: December 20, 1976 <br />Attest: <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />. <br />Ap oved: (02-20-76 <br />/ <br />YDR <br />,A
