<br />ORDINANCE N0. 1971- 35 <br />gy; ~, Schmidt <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF [dILSON MILLS ROAD FROM A <br />CLASS U-1 USE DISTRICT TO A LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, this amending ordinance has been submitted to the Village <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions, and said <br />Commission has been allowed a reasonable time for consideration and report, and has <br />made its report thereon, and a public hearing has been had thereon, with notice of <br />such hearing given in the manner provided by law; and <br />WHEREAS, council finds that the use of said property for a local business <br />use rather than single residence use ioill be conducive to the public health, peace, <br />safety, comfort, prosperity, convenience and general welfare, and will not substan- <br />tially in~.ure any other property in the Village or the use thereof. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The following described property shall be transferred from <br />a Class U-1 Use District to a local business district: <br />Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga, State <br />of Ohio and known as being a part of Original Mayfield Township, <br />Lot No. 45, Tract No. 1, bounded and described as follows: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Wilson <br />Mills Road (80 feet wide) with the centerline of S.O.M. Center <br />Road (60 feet wide); <br />Thence westerly along the said centerline of Wilson Mills <br />Raad, 542.84 feet to the principal place of beginning; <br />Thence northerly and parallel with the easterly line of <br />land conveyed to Kenneth C. and Catharine Smith Hill by deed <br />recorded in Volume 5852 Page 450 of Cuyahoga County Records, <br />' 262 feet to a point; <br />Thence westerly and parallel with the said centerline of <br />[dilson Mills Road, 70.52 feet to a point; <br />Thence northerly along the easterly line of land conveyed <br />to William C. and Eilene M. Schwentker by deed recorded in <br />Volume 7860 Page 667 of Cuyahoga County Records, 38 feet to a <br />point; <br />
