ORDINANCE N0. 1971- 35 gy; ~, Schmidt AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN PROPERTY ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF [dILSON MILLS ROAD FROM A CLASS U-1 USE DISTRICT TO A LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT WHEREAS, this amending ordinance has been submitted to the Village Planning and Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions, and said Commission has been allowed a reasonable time for consideration and report, and has made its report thereon, and a public hearing has been had thereon, with notice of such hearing given in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, council finds that the use of said property for a local business use rather than single residence use ioill be conducive to the public health, peace, safety, comfort, prosperity, convenience and general welfare, and will not substan- tially in~.ure any other property in the Village or the use thereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. The following described property shall be transferred from a Class U-1 Use District to a local business district: Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio and known as being a part of Original Mayfield Township, Lot No. 45, Tract No. 1, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Wilson Mills Road (80 feet wide) with the centerline of S.O.M. Center Road (60 feet wide); Thence westerly along the said centerline of Wilson Mills Raad, 542.84 feet to the principal place of beginning; Thence northerly and parallel with the easterly line of land conveyed to Kenneth C. and Catharine Smith Hill by deed recorded in Volume 5852 Page 450 of Cuyahoga County Records, ' 262 feet to a point; Thence westerly and parallel with the said centerline of [dilson Mills Road, 70.52 feet to a point; Thence northerly along the easterly line of land conveyed to William C. and Eilene M. Schwentker by deed recorded in Volume 7860 Page 667 of Cuyahoga County Records, 38 feet to a point;
