reasons why one or more of said variations are not in the <br />public interest. In the event of such refusal, the Landowner' <br />may refile his application for final approval without the <br />variations objected to by the Council at any time within <br />which he shall be entitled to apply for final approval, <br />or within 30 additional days if the time for applying for <br />final approval shall have already passed at the time when <br />the Council advised the Landowner that the variations were <br />not in the public interest. If the Landowner shall fail to <br />refile within said period or extension thereof he shall be <br />deemed to have refused to accept such requirements and final <br />approval shall be deemed to have been denied. <br />(d) In the event the Plan as submitted for final approval <br />is not in substantial compliance with the Plan as given tenta- <br />tive approval, as provided in paragraph (c) of this Section, <br />the Council shall, within 30 days of the date the application <br />for final approval is filed, so notify the Landowner in writing, <br />setting forth the particular ways in which the Plan is not <br />in substantial compliance. The Landowner may either refile <br />his Plan in a form which is in substantial compliance with the <br />Plan as tentatively approved, or he may file a written request <br />with the Council that it hold a public hearing on his applica- <br />tion for final approval. If the Landowner wishes to take either <br />such alternate action he may do so at any time within which <br />he shall be entitled to apply for final approval, or within <br />30 additional days if the time for applying for final approval <br />shall have already passed at the time when the Council <br />advised the Landowner that,the Plan Baas not in substantial <br />-22- <br />
