Said Council will present a tentative annual program beginning <br />in September of each year with a pilot program from the present to August 1, <br />1972, based upon. recommended programs suggested by membership of said Recreation <br />Council. <br />(a) Said tentative annual program will include: <br />1. Program objective and outline <br />2. Dates and locations <br />3. Estimated budget <br />4. Fee for participants <br />5. Estimated Council cost <br />(b) Each program will endeavor to be self-sustaining and every <br />political subdivision will be afforded the opportunity <br />to participate in the entire program or any part thereof, <br />with the right of the remaining political subdivisions <br />to sponsor the entire program°or parts at~their own <br />expense. <br />(c) An annual budget will be proposed and submitted for <br />approval to the Council of each political subdivision <br />for each ensuing year. For the period ending August 1, <br />1973, a $1,000.00 budget proposed, based upon the 1970 <br />population, to be paid as follows: <br />Gates Mills $ 70.00 <br />Highland Heights 170.00 <br />Mayfield Heights 660.00 <br />Mayfield Village 100.00 <br />(d) The Board of Education agrees to provide facilities <br />for use by the Recreation Council at no cost during <br />prescribed hours and at actual cost to the Board <br />outside of these hours. <br />(e) The Board of Education agrees, during the first year <br />of operation, to provide staff services, one of which <br />will act as Coordinator of said programs at its sole <br />expense. <br />5. This agreement between the parties shall cover the period from its <br />acceptance to August 1, 1973, with the understanding that except for the intial <br />contribution of each political subdivision, any further requests for appropriations <br />must be submitted and approved by the Councils of each of the political subdivisions, <br />i=respective of whether a majority of the members of the Mayfield Area Recreation <br />Council approve any program or part thereof. <br />
