The ballots shall be so printed as to give each elector <br />a clear opportunity to designate his choice of particular candidates. <br />Provisions shall be made on the ballot to allow the voter to write in <br />the name or names of any person or persons not printed on the ballot <br />for whom he desires to vote. <br />Sec. 6. That the Mayor be and he is hereby directed to give public <br />notice of the time and place of holding such election by publication of <br />such notice at least ten days prior to the date of such election in a <br />newspaper of general circulation in said village. <br />Sec. 7. That the Clerk be and he is hereby directed to certify a <br />copy of this Ordinance to the Board of Elections. of Cuyahoga County. <br />Sec. 8. Council declared this Ordinance to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the public peace, health and safety, such emergency <br />arising out of the necessity to have this question placed upon the <br />ballot at the next special election without undue delay, in order to <br />correct a situation now deemed undesirable. <br />Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force <br />from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed this 19th day of February, 1973. <br />S <br />R-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEA ) CLERK-TREASURER <br />
