/p <br />C <br />Section 4. There is hereby created the position of Assistant <br />to the Building Inspector and Service Director. The present occupant of that <br />position shall continue to serve as such, but may be removed at any time by <br />an affirmative vote of a majority of members elected to Council. Any vacancy <br />shall be filled by appointment by the Playor, with the consent of the majority <br />of the members elected to Council, and the person so appointed may be removed <br />at any time by an affirmative vote of the majority of members elected to <br />Council. The Assistant to the Building Inspector and Service Director, beginning <br />as of April 1, 1968, shall be compensated at the rate of $6,000.00 per year, <br />but such compensation may be changed at any time by Council. The Village shall <br />also pay to Blue Cross of Northeast Ohio, Inc., the premiums for hospitaliza- <br />tion and medical mutual insurance far the Assistant to the Building Inspector <br />and Service Director. <br />Section 5. The Building Inspector- and Service Director shall be <br />paid the sum of $15.00 per month for the use of his private automobile in <br />the performance-of his duties and shall be reimbursed for the cost of gasoline <br />used for that purpose. <br />Section 6. The Building Inspector and Service Director shall give <br />bond in the amount of $ 51000.00 with sufficient surety to be approved <br />by the Mayor. <br />Section 7. The compensation of skilled laborers and other employees <br />to assist the Service Director (except for the Clerk and the Assistant to the <br />Building Inspector and Service Director) shall be at the rate of $2.00 per <br />hour. Persons designated by the Building Inspector and Service Director as <br />unskilled employees shall be compensated at the rate of ($_1.60 per hour. <br />tJ u <br />Section 8. Existing:Ordinances Numbers 921, 956, 992, 1037 and <br />1042 shall be repealed as of the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 9.
