BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 583, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Tenure and Compensation of Members of the Police Department, and to Add the Position of Sergeant of Police and to Repeal Ordinance No. 479, as Amended by Ordinance No. 548," as amended by Ordinance No. 1033, is hereby amended to read as follows: The following compensation shall be paid, beginning as of January 1, 1969, but may be changed at any time by Council, by Ordinance or Resolu- tion: Overtime Per Hourly Year Rate. Marshall or Chief of Police $10,740.00 - 0 - Sergeant of Police 8,820.00 $3.80 Patrolman (Probationary Six Months) 7,380.00 3.25 Patrolman (Next Six Months) 7,680.00 3.25 Patrolman (Next Twelve Months) 7,920.00 3.60 Patrolman (Maximum) 8,220,00 3.60 Any hours worked in excess of 40 in any one week shall be considered as overtime. Special Policeman: $3.00 per hour during which he serves on such an assignment by the Mayor or Chief of Police. The total number of hours to be served by all Special Policemen during any one week shall not exceed 64, but Council may change the maximum number of hours at any time by Ordinance or Resolution. Provided, however, that the Mayor, at his discretion, may authorize the employment of Special Policemen after their regular working hours, at the rate of $3.00 per hour, for the purpose of service of summons and notices upon and arresting
