(1115.07 Cont'd) <br />year following the~cbmpletfon of said pavement, an inspection of all ~~ <br />improvements installed by the developer shall be made by a Committee <br />of .Council and the Village Engineer. Any defects disclosed by this <br />inspection 'shall~be 'corrected by the developer. When the improvements <br />installed by the developer are approved by Council, the developer <br />shall file with the Village Solicitor an abstract, certificate of <br />title,.guarantee of~title, or title insurance in the amount of at <br />least One Thousand Dollars, showing the title to the atreet or streets <br />in said subdivision to be good in the Village for street purposes and <br />to be free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever. The Council <br />:will then approve the plat 'for the dedication of such atreet areas, <br />will accept the streets as Pillage streets and release all of the bonds. <br />b. Land Reserved for Public Use <br />_ ~--~ <br />.. ~ In addition to 'land for local streets which principally serve ~`~ <br />•the subdivision under consideration, the Village may request by reso- <br />lution.that land for other streets, for parks, playgrounds, or other <br />public uses as shown on the official Master Plan,. the Street Plan or <br />Community Facilities Plan or determined by adopted standards, be set <br />aside and reserved for a period of 120 days after the application for <br />approval of a preliminary plan of a subdivision is submitted, or for_ <br />a longer period as may be mutually agreed, to~allow the Village time <br />to start proceedings'to-•ecquire such land by gift, purchase, exchange, <br />~ devise or appropriation. • <br />During such period, no structure shall be erected, no trees or <br />topsoil shall be removed or destroyed, no grading shall be done, nor <br />shall any land so reserved be put to any use whatsoever except on i^, <br />written approval of the Commission. <br /> <br />MVSR -31- <br />
