Beginning as of January 1, 1970, and until changed by <br />the Council, the following salaries and compensation shall be paid to the <br />following named officers and employees of the Village of Mayfield, in addition <br />to such payment of hospitalization premiums as have already been prescribed <br />by existing~Ordinances•and payment of premiums for accident insurance to <br />State Firemen's Association for members of the Fire Department: <br />YEAR 1970 - SALARY SCHEDULE Overtime* <br />Annual Salary Hourly Rate <br />Police Chief $ 11,400.00 $ -0- <br />Sergeant 9 , 360.00 4.-+'"t <br />Patrolman (Probationary 6 months) 7,800.00 3.75 <br />Patrolman (Next six months) 8;160.00 3.92 <br />Patrolman (Next twelve months) 8,400.00 4.04 <br />Patrolman (Maximum) 8,730.00 4.20 <br />School Guard -0- $8.00 per day <br />Building Inspector and Service Director 9,240.00 4.45 <br />$ 5,820.00 $ 3,420.00 <br />Road Foreman <br />Clerk of Mayor's Court <br />8,220.00 3.95 <br />4,140.00 (over 6 hrs. 2.65 <br />per day) <br />Assistant Clerk of Mayor's Court <br />Assistant to Clerk-Treasurer (Hourly) <br />Fire Chief <br />Full time fireman <br />Acting Fire Chief (Volunteer) <br />Officers (Volunteer) <br />Fireman (Volunteer) <br />Station Duty <br />Drills <br />Part Time Skilled Employees <br /> <br />4,800.00 2.30 <br />-0- 2.30 <br />1,920.00 -0- <br />7,440.00 3.58 <br />11.40 first hour +2.30 added hours. <br />5.75 first hour +2.30 added hours. <br />4.55 first hour +2.30 added. hours. <br />2.30 per hour <br />2.30 per hour <br />2.30 per hour <br />Section 2. In addition to his regular compensation, each newly <br />employed member of the Police Department shall be reimbursed in an amount <br />not exceeding $350.00 for the cost of uniforms purchased by him for use in <br />his police work during his first year in such position. Thereafter, each <br />policeman shall be reimbursed in an amount not to exceed $200.00 per year <br />for uniforms purchased by him. Reimbursement in all cases must be supported <br />by bills showing the cost of same. <br />Section 3. Longevity Schedule. In addition to the compensation <br />above-specified, each of said employees shall be entitled to receive additional <br />compensation on the following basis: <br />
