Davis <br /> <br />u. <br />b <br />Ltl <br />Q <br />W <br />0_ <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY ON THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF IdILSON MILLS <br />ROAD INTO MOTORIST SERVICE DISTRICT, BUT LIPIITED <br />TO MOTEL ACCOMODATIONS AND USES ACCESSORY THERETO. <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that certain land on the southerly side of <br />Wilson Mills Road in the Village of Mayfield, hereinafter described, is presently <br />zoned for single-family residence purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that the re-zoning of such land for motorist <br />service uses, but limited to motel accomodations and uses accessory thereto, will <br />be conducive to the public health, peace, safety, comfort, prosperity, convenience <br />and general welfare; will provide the highest and best use of said land; will <br />provide added and needed tax revenues for the Village enabling it to carry on <br />needed functions; and will not substantially injure any other property in the <br />Village or the use thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that this amending ordinance has been submitted <br />to the Village Planning & Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions, <br />and that said Commission has allowed a reasonable time for consideration and <br />report, and has approved the same in the form herein set forth, and that a public <br />hearing has been had thereon, and notice of such hearing given in the manner provided <br />by law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />County of Cuyahoga, and State of Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The following described property, hitherto in a Class U-1 Use <br />District, is hereby transferred into a Motorist Service District, as defined in <br />Ordinance No. 763, but limited to use for motel accomodations, eating places in <br />such accomodations, assembly rooms in connection with motels, and other <br />accessory uses in connection with motel accomodations as defined in said Ordinance <br />No. 763, but excluding •automotive _ facilities, which shall be prohibited: <br />Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga and State <br />of Ohio, and known as being part of Original Mayfield Township Lot <br />No. 16, Tract 2, and bounded and described as follows: <br /> <br />6 <br />b <br />I~ <br />U7 <br />Q <br />L_! <br />4'~ <br />G <br />Beginning on the Westerly line of said Original Lot No. 16, at its <br />intersection with the Southerly line of land conveyed to The Board <br />of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, for the widening of <br />Nilson Pulls Road, by deed dated April 27, 1960, and recorded in <br />Volume 9932, Page 313 of Cuyahoga County Records; thence East along <br />the Southerly line of land so conveyed, being the Southerly line of <br />Wilson Mi11s Road, 40.00 feet to a point therein and the principal <br />place of beginning; <br />thence continuing East, along said Southerly line of Wilson Mills <br />Road, 61.98 feet to an angle point; <br />
