<br />ORDINANCE N0. 70-36 <br />Page 2. <br />would curtail the operation of motor vehicles or the <br />sale of gasoline, or if the Council shall determine <br />that there exists a state of general economic depression, <br />the provisions of this Section shall not apply. <br />Upon the failure, neglect or refusal of any owner to <br />comply with the notice to abate such abandonment, the <br />Building Inspector and Service Director shall take such <br />action as may be necessary to abate said nuisance, including <br />without limitation as to other remedies, the razing of the <br />buildings on said premises, and the owner shall be liable <br />to the Village of Mayfield for any expense incurred by the <br />Village in abating said nuisance. <br />Inoperative gasoline service stations which do not come <br />within the definition of abandoned service stations shall <br />be maintained in accordance with the provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 69-7 as amended and the ocaner shall cut all <br />grass and remove rubbish and weeds from the premises. <br />The parking of motor vehicles upon said premises shall in <br />such case be prohibited and the owner shall place in the <br />window of such service station a sign of at least ten square <br />feet in area notifying the public of this fact. Notwith- <br />standing any other provision of this Ordinance, if the <br />Building Inspector and Service Director shall find that <br />such notice is not complied with by the public, he may <br />order the owner of the premises on which any such station <br />is inoperative for more than one month to install fencing <br />or barricade approved by the Building Inspector and Service <br />Director which will be sufficient to block motor vehicle <br />access to said property." <br />Section 2. In all other respects said Ordinance No. 69-7 shall remain <br />in full force and effect. <br />Section 3.
