ORDINANCE N0. 70-~ <br />BY: MR. SCHMIDT <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THE <br />PIAYOR'S COURT. <br />Be IE Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized to open and establish <br />a checking account for the Mayor's Court in the Central National Bank of Cleveland, <br />Eastgate Branch, for the purpose of depositing and withdrawing moneys received by <br />the Mayor's Court for bail, fines and court costs. Ploney received for bail and <br />deposited in said checking account shall be returned to the person depositing the <br />same upon appearance of the defendant in such case in Court; in case of forfeiture <br />of bail., said money should be paid to the Clerk-Treasurer for deposit in the <br />regular checking account of the Village. Moneys received for fines or costs and <br />deposited in said checking account of the Mayor's Court shall be paid over to the <br />Clerk-Treasurer for deposit in the regular checking account of the Village of <br />Mayfield at least once a month. <br />Section 2. Checks, withdrawal slips, deposit slips and endorsements may <br />be signed by any one of the following officers of the Village for said checking <br />account of the Playor's Court: <br />Mayor <br />Clerk of Mayor's Court & Town Hall Clerk <br />Deputy Clerk of Mayor's Court <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village and its inhabitants in order to facilitate the business of <br />a Mayor's Court, and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 16th day of November 19 ~0. <br />" ` s<~~`~ <br />/,/% ~DIAYOR-PRESIDENT OF 'COUNCIL <br />V <br />
