<br />VILLAGE OF PIAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN PROPERTY
<br />FROM A CLASS U-1 USE DISTRICT TO AN OFFICE-
<br />LABORATORY DISTRICT'•
<br />"'• [,TEiEREAS, Council finds that a large tract of land abutting Wilson Pulls ~
<br />' Road and adjacent to the Free~•ray knotm as Interstate 271, now zoned for Class U-1
<br />rd' ~ use district uses, has never been used for residential purposes or any other
<br />purposes; and
<br />i
<br />WHEREAS, because of their location, said premises are better suited
<br />. for office-laboratory uses and production-distribution uses in connection therewith,
<br />and such uses will be conducive to the public health, peace, safety, comfort,
<br />I prosperity, convenience and general welfare, will provide added and needed tax
<br />~ revenues for the Village, enabling it to carry on needed functions, and caill not
<br />substantially injure any other property in the Village or the use thereof; and
<br />WHEREAS, Council finds that this amending ordinance has been submitted to
<br />• the Village Planning and Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions,
<br />I and that said Commission has allowed'a reasonable time far consideration and report,
<br />and has approved the same in form herein set forth, and that a public hearing has
<br />been had thereon, after notice of such hearing given in the manner provided by law.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield,
<br />County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, that:
<br />Section 1. The follocaing described premises, hitherto in a Class U-1
<br />use district, shall be transferred to an office=laboratory district, as shown on a
<br />map hereto attached, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof:
<br />Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga and
<br />State of Ohio, and kno~,m as being part of Original Mayfield
<br />Tovmship Lot No. 16, Tract 2, and bounded and described as
<br />follows:
<br />Beginning on the [desterly line of said Original Lot No. 16,
<br />at its intersection with the Southerly line of land conveyed
<br />to The Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, for
<br />the widening of Wilson Mills Road, by deed dated April 27,
<br />1960, and recorded in Volume 9932, Page 313 of Cuyahoga
<br />County Records; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of
<br />land so conveyed, being the Southerly line of [Wilson Mills
<br />Road, 101.98 feet to an angle point therein; thence
<br />continuing Easterly along the Southerly line of Wilson Mills
<br />Road, 329.37 feet to an angle point; thence Easterly along
<br />the said Southerly line of Wilson Piills Road, 57.35 feet to
<br />the Southcresterly line of a perpetual easement for highcray
<br />purposes, described as Parcel No. 41-15-IA in a deed to the
<br />State of Ohio, dated Pfay 17, 1960, and recorded in Volume
<br />9942, Page 414 of Cuyahoga County Records; thence Southeasterly
