special assessment note and bonds issued in connection with such <br />imptovement, including the preparation of necessary legislation <br />attd the supervision of the preparation of transcripts of the <br />proceedings in connection therewith; provided, however that <br />compensation for services rendered by him in connection with a <br />special assESSment ttote shall be not less than $200.00 and in <br />connection with a special assessment bond issue shall be not <br />less than $300.00. <br />(c) For preparatiott of a major code or recodification of a major code, <br />such legal counsel shall be compensated in such further amount <br />as may be agreed upon between him and Council. <br />The compensation provided for in this Ordinance shall be payable <br />out of the General Fund of said Village, except that the additional <br />compensation for services rendered in connection with any special <br />assessment improvement shall be charged against the cost of said <br />improvement and included as a part of the cost thereof. <br />Sec. 4. Any necessary reasonable expenses incurred in the performance <br />of his duties shall, after being approved by this Council, be authorized to be <br />paid. . <br />Sec. 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, peace, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield because of the necessity of providittg <br />adequate legal counsel for the Village immediately, and shall be in full force <br />and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 215t day of ,k'e!luuary,1966. <br />?]fayor - President of Council <br />!? <br />Attest; , - <br />(g?,).
