Sec. 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in that adequate <br />requirements must be established immediately to prevent the erection of signs <br />in commercial districts which will be detrimental to the Village and its <br />inhabitants, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day o£ February, 1966, <br />/lttest: <br />.
