ORDINANCE No. 1033 By Mr. Davis AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SSCTION 3 OF ORDINANCE N0. 583, AS AMENDED BY INCREASING THE UNIFORM ALLOWANCE FOR SPECIAL POI,ICIIMEN BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILI.AGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, TEiP.T: Sec. 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 583, entitled; "An Ordinance to Provide for the Tenure and Compensation of Members of the Police Department, and to Add the Position of Sergeant of Police and to Repeal Ordinance No. 479, as Amended by Ordinance No. 54811, as'amended by Ordittance No. 1011, is hereby amended to read, as follows: "Sec, 3. Compensation and Allowance for Uniforms. The following compensation shall be paid, beginning as of July 1, 1967, but may be changed at any time by Council, by Ordinance or Resolution: Overtime Hrly Rate Marshall or Chief of Police $10,000.00 per year 0 Sergeant of Police: During first two years After two years service 7,900,00 " " 3.45 8,200,00 " " 3.55 Regular Policemen for 6 month probationery period at rate of Thereafter for his 2nd 6 month of service at rate of Thereafter during his 2nd 12 mos of service at rate of Thereafter at rate of 6,875.00 " " 3.00 7,125.00 " " 3.10 7,375.00 " " 3.20 7,625.00 " " 3.35 Any hours worked in excess of 44 hours in any one week shall be considered as overtime Special Policeman $3.00 per hour during which he serves on such an assignment by the Mayor or Chief of Police. The total number of hours to be served by all Special Policemen during any one week shall not exceed 64, but Council may change the maximum number of hours at any time by ordinance or resolution. Provided, however, that the Mayor at his diseretion may authorize the employment of Special Policemen after their regular working hours, at the rate of $3.00 per hour, for the purpose of service of summons and notices upon and arresting persons within and outside of the Village of Mayfield who have failed to appear in the Mayor's Court of this Village in response to any warrants,
