Special arrangements may be <br />made by Council with Special Policemen whereby they shall not be paid for <br />police services performed in connection with the operation of their own <br />businesses or of businesses for which they are compensated by the oianers thereof. <br />Uniform Allowance: <br />In addition to their regular compensation, each regular member of the <br />Police Department shall be reimbursed for the cost of uhiforms purchased by <br />him for use i? his police work; provided, however, that such reimbursement <br />shall not exceed the sum of $175.00 per year and must be supported by bills <br />showing the cost of same. In addition, each Special Policeman shall be <br />likewise so reimbursed, except that his maximum allowance for uniforms shall <br />be $100.00 per year. <br />Hospitalization Insurance: <br />In addition to their regular cwipensation, the Village shall pay to <br />Blue Cross of Northeast Ohio, Inc. the cost of hospitalizatior&medical mutual <br />insurance for each regular member of the Police Department. <br />Outside Employment: <br />No regular member of the Police Department shall work at any other <br />employment unless he has the written approval of the Chief of Police, who <br />shall not grant such approval unless he finds that such outside employment <br />will not, due to the nature of the work and the hours to be worked, interfere <br />with the efficiency of said member of the Police Department." <br />Sec. 2.
