Assess the proposed Green Corridor as an <br />alternative to the NOACA regional priority bicycle plan or identify connections to the NOACA plan. <br />Prepare draft written narrative analysis comparing trail route alternatives and criteria for route selection <br />Identify potential trail nodes, connection points, and trail heads. School travel routes will be identified <br />using guidelines such as directness of route, minimized street crossings, avoiding complicated <br />intersections, determining need for additional traffic control, avoiding high traffic volumes, and heavy <br />vehicles, analyzing crash data, road and sidewalk conditions, and land use along the route. Identify <br />stream restoration and stormwater best management practice opportunity locations. Prepare cross <br />sections or concept sketches of design elements. Identify potential interpretive themes for inclusion in <br />Green Corridor. Report Alternatives Analysis findings to stakeholders. Present Alternatives at public <br />meeting for input. <br />C. Draft Master Plan <br />Based on stakeholder and public input, develop draft Green Corridor Masterplan. Develop and refine <br />sketches of proposed key features. A separate plan identifying the preferred Safe Route to School will be <br />prepared. Prepare draft cost estimate, identify potential Funding sources, and Funding plan. Prepare draft <br />phasing plan and project schedule. Update and refine narrative description. Compile information into <br />draft Master Plan document for stakeholder comment. Present Draft Master Plan to stakeholders. Present <br />Draft Master Plan to public for input. <br />D. Final Master Plan <br />Based on stakeholder and public input, finalize Green Corridor Masterplan. Finalize sketches of <br />proposed key features. Finalize cost estimate, and Funding plan. Finalize Phasing Plan and Project <br />Schedule. Finalize narrative description and Master Plan document based on stakeholder comment. <br />Present Final Master Plari to stakeholders. Provide 5 hard copies of Final Masterplan document as well as <br />digital files for archives or website. <br />Review Meetings <br />During the master plan process, stakeholder meetings will be conducted every 4-6 weeks to report <br />progress on trail route alternatives, linkage points, restoration and interpretive opportunities. Two public <br />meetings will be conducted to determine public need, goals, gather public input on the project and <br />determine public support for the project. The Green Corridor plan will be presented color rendered plans, <br />sketches, and cross sections to the public in power point format.
