II. REQUEST FOR SERVICES (By Whom Made). <br />A request for services in accordance with O.R.C. at § 5502.29, shall be made only by a <br />Municipality's Recreation Director. <br />III. REQUEST FOR SERVICES (Manner). <br />A request for services shall be made by a Municipality's (hereinafter "Requesting <br />Municipality") Recreation Director to another Municipality's (hereinafter "Providing <br />Municipality") Recreation Director. Such request shall be made, insofar as practicable in <br />writing, in the following manner: <br />a) The Requesting Municipality's Recreation Director will specify what services are <br />required; <br />b) The Requesting Municipality's Recreation Director shall state the nature, location <br />and extent/duration of the required services necessary, and such event shall be <br />considered a Planned Event under Ohio Revised Code § 5502.29; <br />c) The Providing Municipality's Recreation Director shall cause an official entry of <br />such request to be made on the appropriate departmental records, stating the time, <br />number of lifeguard staff and the duration of time required by Requesting <br />Municipality; <br />d) The Requesting Municipality shall insure that all lifeguards from a Providing <br />Municipality are properly trained at the location of the Planned Event sufficiently in <br />advance of the Planned Event; <br />e) The Requesting Municipality's Recreation Director shall not be required to <br />reimburse the Providing Municipality so long as in exchange for such services, the <br />Requesting Municipality shall provide to the residents of the Providing Municipality <br />access to its municipal pool free of charge for season pass holders and for a charge <br />of $5.00 per resident per day for non-season pass holders, from the close of the <br />Providing Municipality's pool season through the end of the Labor Day Holiday. <br />For purposes of illustration, in the event that HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, wishes to <br />open its pool for the Labor Day weekend and MAYFIELD VILLAGE provides the <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />
